Jenna's First Piano Recital May 2, 2009

Jenna had her first dance recital. She played "Fuzzy Wuzzy" and "Hand Bells". Jenna did a fabulous job and everyone enjoyed her playing. She also performed at school for a talent show. She received a medal for her wonderful talent.

Western Day with Dad

Olivia's school had "Western Days" at school. It was a special night for child and father to enjoy together. They sang camp songs, played western games, and had snacks. Olivia enjoyed the special time with dad.

Froggy visits the Ahlstroms

Froggy came to visit us the May 2009 from school. That weekend we spent in the Dells at the Wilderness Hotel's indoor waterpark. We arrived Sunday and stayed Sunday night. Daryl, Olivia, Jenna, Tyler, and I all had a blast.

Easter 2009

Olivia's easter basket was hidden in Tyler's room behind his bed and covered up with a blanket. It took Olivia quite a while to find it. She needed a little help. The Easter Bunny did an awesome job this year!!

PaPa's Birthday

April 15, 2009 - Olivia and I had supper over at Grandma and Grandpa's house to celebrate Papa's birthday...with chocolate cake and even a candle to blow out. We love you PaPa!

Clifford visits the Ahlstroms

Clifford visits the Ahlstrom Family. Olivia brought Clifford home for the weekend, and the day he was due to return to school was Olivia's "special" day...she got to bring a snack and show-n-tell to school that day. Of course we made an extra special treat...cake cookies with flowerty marshmellow tops.

A Day at the Children's Museum

Early April - A day at the Children's Museum in Sheyboygan. Jenny and I took Jenna, Gavin, and Olivia out for lunch and then spent the day at the museum.

Curious George visits the Ahlstrom household

At Olivia's school, the kids get to take turns bringing animal friends home to spend the weekend...then a paragraph has to be written in the journal accompaning the animal friend, about what they did. Then when it is brought back to school, the teacher reads the paragraph to the class. Olivia brought Curious George home and enjoyed sleeping with him, and reading him books in her reading tent.

Dress Up Day for School

Febraury 2009...Olivia's school had a theme week, and on Friday they had dress up day for school. Of course a dress or skirt was MANDITORY according to Olivia :)

Jenna's Birthday

Jenna turns 6! She had her party at the Gymnastics Center in Oshkosh. She invited pretty much all of her friends from school, and most came. Jenna had a butterfly cupcake cake made by her mom. All her friends including sister had a great time and Jenna received lots of great gifts!

Baby Alyson's Birthday

We had a lot of fun at Baby Alyson's birthday. The party was at her house with a "princess" theme. She LOVED the cake! Pink frosting of course.
