Olivia had a very elegant gala of a birthday party on Sept. 22, 2007. It was entitled a "Fairy Princess Birthday Party at Butterfly Castle". She invited all of her classmates and additional friends. We had approximately 13 children that showed up. I decorated the walls with castle theme backdrop, hand made fairy crowns with streamers, wands, and bought wings for any wingless fairy princesses that showed up. The boys were knighted and given a shield that they had to decorate with emblems, and a royal table was set up with a castle cake (home made), goblets, and appropriate dinnerware for cake and ice cream. We played simon says, put on sparkly tattoos, made cherio necklaces, pinned the antenna on the butterfly, and handed out treat bags that included Bella Sara cards that you can play with your horse online, ice cream cone bubbles, stickers, a bracelet, and a 3D butterfly making kit. Fun was had by all!!
