Update

Basically I'm giving a quick view of life currently. Olivia is in 4 year old kindergarten this year which means she is in school every day of the week from 8:10 - 11:10. She loves school and her teachers. Art is not her favorite because she is not allowed to paint or draw what she wants...she is to what to paint or draw. That is her only school complaint. She does perfect in school. Her best friend is Tylea, but she also really likes Megan and her sister Kaitlen, Maggie, Ally, Cassy, and Reese.

Daryl's business is good, I'm still videotaping weddings, although not as many, and currently we are looking at buying a sign shop. I will of course be running and working it. It could be a fabulous opportunity for us if it goes through. I am looking to train for it this summer, and we are hoping to buy it in the fall.

Tyler is signed up to join the Army. He graduates from high school this year, and leaves for the service in June. Tyler's mother also joined and was shipped out almost immediately. They will not be serving near each other though. She just finished boot camp. We will be very very sad to see Tyler go. We love him very much.

Our largest recent purchase was my baby...a 2002 Lexus RX300. We found it over Memorial Day weekend. It is in fabulous shape with black leather interior and wood trim even on the steering wheel. It has heated seats, a 3 disk changer, sun roof, power everything...I love it.
We also bought a Wii over X-mas. I'm totally hooked. The kids love it as well. We bought the Wii Fit to go with it, and Daryl and I are totally competitive. It is such a fun way to exercise.

We had some tragedies over the holidays. Grandma Bonnie had a very rough December and January. She lost 3 pets over those two months. The first was Maggie, mom's cat who passed away due to stomach problems, then Murphy her beloved horse and Dipper's best friend passed due to a cracked hip that was not healing, and just before Murphy passed away she purchased a miniature horse "Stormy" that was only 6 months old. Weeks after Murphy passed, Stormy collicked and also had to be put down, two days and nights were spent trying to save Stormy. Although most would be extremely discouraged by this, my mother knew that her love for animals would not let it end there. Currently she is seeking out to give another miniature horse a new home. Prayers are with her...I truely believe she is a living angel for animals and that they were blessed and extremely lucky to spend their last moments on earth with her. She devoted every last moment, and all the love she could possibly give in their last days of life. If anyone deserves joy and peace with a future animal...it would be her. I wish her all the luck with her search.
