House Projects

Here is the reason why I haven't blogged in a few days...we decided to start working on our bedroom which badly needed to be renovated. We are replacing the center door space with an extra window since we never used the door and it was in the way of our bed. We are also replacing the carpet, redoing the walls and fully redecorating the entire room. The top picture shows the load of some type of cement compound that was delivered yesterday so Daryl can complete the minature putt putt course around our house...he is standing on part of it in the second picture. Yes you heard me right, a mini putt putt course. I am married to the biggest kid in the world!!

Wow! That's some project you've got going there!! What kid wouldn't want a miniature golf course in their yard! : )

As far as the comment you left on my blog about what to plant for flowers, I'm not exactly a green thumb either, but I always put in snapdragons, petunias and zinnias because they're so hardy and they come in so many pretty colors. The nice things about snapdragons is that they reseed themselves and spread all over. Last year I didn't plant anything and they popped up all over my little garden plot by the house. I actually love pansies, but they die off if you don't pamper them a bit.

Good luck with the putt-putt golf thing and the rest of the project -- I hope it all turns out the way you (or should I say your husband!) wants it to! : )
