I've finally decided to create this blog thanks to my friend Beekie, who will probably be the only one actually viewing it anyway. What to blog and what not to blog, that is the question. Where in the world do I begin?? I guess I'll just start with today. I'm very excited because my hubby is going to pick me up a new program that will allow us to design to the detail our future house we want to build. It lets you pick out everything from the structural design of the house and where you want to place room, how large, etc., right down to paint color, type of siding, where to put outlets, even landscaping in detail. Then when you are all finished, you get a tour of your new house inside and out in photo quality, and of course it will print out your blueprints to scale and even seperate the plumbing blueprints from the electrical, etc. I can't wait!! You can even use the program to update your current home. Simply take a picture, import it into the program and go from there. Everything from physically altering it to simply giving it a new paint job. You can even pick out furniture and where to put it so you know it works with your designing. Then it tells you where to get it and how much it will cost you. I love modern technology! It's a seven disk set...we'll see how long it takes me to figure it all out.

The computer plan for your house sounds really cool and I hope you have time to have a lot of fun with it once you figure out how to use it. Maybe you can post photos!
